About me
I’m Rebecca, founder of Bijoux & Belle. Jewellery making has been something of a life-long pursuit for me, selling my first handmade pieces at the age of 16.
My Nanna was always one of my biggest supporters (and best customers!) The name Bijoux & Belle actually came about in honour of her French heritage.
Bijoux & Belle is an act of self empowerment, a part of my own journey to safety and freedom. Based in Hertfordshire, I’m inspired everyday by my children (I’m Mummy to 5 little and not so little people) and the nature that surrounds us. I’m a firm believer in finding beauty in the everyday and I hope to capture some of that beauty in my work, both through the pieces themselves and in the meaning given to them.
When I’m not busy being Mummy or designing and making, you will probably find me baking (brownies are a particular favourite in this house) or tying to squeeze in a quick workout before the day is done
Bijoux & Belle is designed to delight and inspire, each piece a celebration, adding joy to the everyday. It is perfect for marking life’s special moments. If you like your jewellery to uplift you, you will love Bijoux & Belle’s delicate designs and pops of colour.
If you are looking for bridal jewellery or younger bridesmaids gifts, my range includes something fo all member of the bridal party, including a beautiful collection of children’s jewellery, which is perfect for special occasions, including birthdays, Christenings, Christmas or just because.
I hand select the most beautiful materials for my pieces, whether it be lustrous pearls or beautifully cut gemstones, alongside sterling silver, fine silver, gold fill and gold vermeil. My jewellery is designed to last, which is why I take great care when selecting my materials.
To compliment my handmade jewellery, I also offer a carefully curated collection, made up of predominantly stud earrings and a small range of handmade, zero waste plantable cards and earth conscious, hand poured wax melts.
When you choose Bijoux & Belle, you are helping to support the incredible work of domestic abuse charities here in the UK, who save and change lives everyday. I have benefitted first hand from their amazing work and it means so much to me to be able to support their vital, yet underfunded work in this small way.
